The three-volume "Fathul Allam Bi Sharha Murshidl-Anam" book is composed in Arabic. One translation of the title is "The Victory of Knowledge through the Explanation of the Guide of Mankind." The book is a commentary on the widely recognised poem "Qasidat al-Burda" (The Poem of the Mantle), which was composed by the Islamic poet and scholar Imam al-Busiri in the 13th century. Muslims have recited and learned "Qasidat al-Burda" in honour of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) for an extended period of time.

Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi is the author of "Fathul Allam Bi Sharha Murshidl-Anam". He was born in Syria in 1963 and is a well-known Sufi and Islamic scholar. Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi has studied with many prominent scholars in Syria, Iraq, and other parts of the Muslim world. He comes from a long line of renowned Islamic scholars and spiritual leaders.
